Glasgow local GRADschool

The Glasgow local GRADschool is a four day course that gives you time to step back from your PhD, think about the skills you have developed and how they will help you to take that next step in your career.  You’ll have the chance to meet researchers from other universities or subjects and work on key skills such as communication, networking, team working and time management.

The GRADschool is aimed at 2nd and 3rd year PhD researchers and has a strong focus on career development.  As well as having a Careers Adviser on hand, our team of experienced tutors are from a range of backgrounds and will be able to talk to you about how their research background helped to get them where they are now.

Next course:  25th-28th August 2009 Glasgow Caledonian University.
You must be able to attend all four days.

Booking now open.

If you can't make it to the Glasgow course, we can often arrange places in courses run by other institutions.  Edinburgh University will be holding two GRADschools in the coming year.  These will be residential courses.

6th-9th April 2009
June 2009 (dates TBC)

If you are interested in attending one of these please register your interest using the online booking form.
