Study Abroad

The School of Law operates a student exchange scheme whereby Law students in their second year are invited to apply to spend all or part of their third year abroad, studying either in a foreign language which has been studied in first and second year, or in English.  Most of the information you will require about the exchange scheme can be found in the leaflet 'Study Abroad Opportunities' (link to the right), which is also available in hard copy from the School of Law International Office (G/28 on the ground floor of the Stair Building) or from the magazine racks in the foyer (under the stairs).

The grades you achieve for subjects studied abroad will be converted and count towards your Glasgow LL.B.  A leaflet on the conversion of overseas grades is available from the quicklinks to the right.

Check the Study Abroad Forum for experiences of those who have already taken part in the exchange scheme and have been abroad  Use the forum to contact these students or to add your own questions or opinions. Alternatively, see the reports below for further information on each partner institution.   If you are a fourth year student who has been abroad and details of your experience do not already appear, please post to the forum.
