Diploma in Legal Practice
Students wishing to enter the legal profession are required to complete the Diploma in Legal Practice. Application forms are usually available in January or February for entry later that year. A single application form is used for application to all the Diploma providers and the applicant is asked to indicate their preferred institution.
In general a student must have completed all the professional courses in order to be eligible for entry (though if there is a problem in respect of this it should be discussed with the Senior Adviser of Studies). Entry is based on performance in these professional courses. This performance is also used as the basis for distributing the limited number of funded places.
