The School of Law is one of Scotland's oldest and largest law schools. It has an internationally diverse body of over 1,000 students, including undergraduates, taught and research postgraduates, and visiting students from partner universities.
The academic staff comprises over forty members engaged in a wide range of doctrinal, theoretical, and empirical research. Postgraduate research students contribute actively to the intellectual life of the School.
Students may obtain the degree of Bachelor of Laws under one of six distinct programmes of study. Students who already possess a first degree can join a fast-track programme to the degree. Students seeking a postgraduate qualification have available a range of general and specialised programmes and a fund of world-class expertise.
The School is located in the Stair Building, in the main university campus. The university provides full travel information, including maps of the university and surrounding area.
