Section of Dermatology

The Faculty of Medicine, University of Glasgow has been reorganised into divisions. Glasgow Dematology has regrouped with elements from the Cancer Research UK Beatson Laboratories and from Pathology to form a new Section of Squamous Cell Biology and Dermatology within the Division of Cancer Sciences. This section serves as the focus for academic Dermatology in the West of Scotland. 

The Section is housed in a scientific / research wing, situated in modern, well-equipped laboratories on two floors of The Robertson Building in the Glasgow University Anderson College Complex (which we share with the Division of Molecular Genetics), and a clinical wing in the adjacent Western Infirmary.

The staff comprises the full-time university academic faculty and supporting staff, NHS staff (a number of whom hold honorary university academic appointments), grant-funded research staff and postgraduate students.
